How to Write an Affidavit

Target Audience

Child Welfare Professionals, Law Enforcement, Community Providers, Mental Health Practitioners, anybody who may have to write an affidavit for juvenile court purposes.

Description

The purpose of this training is to increase competency in writing affidavits for the juvenile court.

Participants will learn:

  • The reasons for affidavits and what they represent
  • To identify information needed in affidavits
  • The guidelines for writing clear and concise affidavits

This training includes individual coaching by local attorneys & therefore is only offered on scheduled dates.

Affidavit Training will be held by request only.  A two month advanced notice and an audience of at least 15 participants is required for this training to be held.
