Course Catalog

The Project Harmony Training Institute offers specialized training for law enforcement, legal, child welfare, medical, education and childcare professionals. We also provide community education. At the Training Institute, we engage professionals and our community by increasing awareness on issues regarding child abuse, such as how and when to report, fostering child and family engagement and recognizing trauma. We facilitate learning opportunities to expand the use of evidence-based practices to achieve optimum results for families. All Project Harmony trainings promote collaboration through a multidisciplinary approach .

Training Requests
Some of the trainings listed are offered regularly at our facility and others are by request only. We are also able to offer on-site training for you and your team. The Project Harmony Training Institute will do its best to accommodate all training requests; however, there will be occasions that we may not have the capacity to honor the request. If we are unable to fulfill the training request, we will try to put you in contact with an alternate training provider. Please note that there may be a cost associated with some training.

Continuing Education Units
All trainings offer CEUs for mental health and social work practitioners EXCEPT the Project Harmony Tour and the Understanding Trauma Film Series. If you need continuing education for another profession, please work with your licensing body to determine eligibility. We are happy to provide course summaries and any other information that may be helpful.

This training is geared toward adults working with youth involved in extracurricular activities as well as parents whose kids are in extracurricular activities. This training helps increase awareness around child sexual abuse, and the role of coaches, parents, and other adults leading youth in keeping kids safe.
