This course is presented by former narcotics officer Kevin Donlan to help workers identify and understand common street drugs that may be present in homes and the effects they can have on users and their families.
Participants will be able to:
- The most common types of drugs and their effects on users
- The behaviors of users and how long drugs remain in the user’s system
- To recognize drugs by sight and smell and how to identify drug paraphernalia
Real life stories are utilized throughout the training to enhance learning.
This training meets the requirements for 3.5 CEUs
(Continuing Education Units) for social workers and Licensed Mental Health Professionals in Nebraska and Iowa.
