We are seeking an Administrative Assistant-After Hours to join our dynamic and innovative organization.  This position is responsible for receptionist and administrative duties supporting administration, billing, clinical and development staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet/welcome families.
  • Answer multi-line phone system and transfer calls to appropriate recipient.
  • Collect insurance information from responsible party.
  • Ensure that each child is comfortable and well cared for during their visit.
  • Maintain a safe, friendly environment for children.
  • Assist in implementation of Outcome Measurement System (OMS) follow-up.
  • Filing
  • Other administrative assistant duties as assigned.

Education and Training

  • Good customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
  • Comfortable working with children.

Work Experience

  • Previous professional experience related to administrative duties.
  • Previous experience in working with children.
  • Previous experience in working as part of a team.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Must respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Word and Access.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with children.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.


  • Must be willing to work flexible hours.
  • Must submit to a thorough criminal history background check.
