Medical professionals, law enforcement, attorneys, child protective services, school employees, community providers and all others who work with children

Description

This 30-minute course is designed for participants seeking to increase their awareness about aspects of medical abuse, i.e., Munchausen by Proxy.  Participants will learn:

• Definition of medical abuse
• Differential diagnosis and treatment
• Investigation considerations

Participants will hear case examples and view images of children diagnosed with medical abuse.
